Jonku apteekin eessä oli gorilla. // There was a gorilla in front of a pharmacy.

Ginon (ja sen isän ja veljen ja serkun) työpaikalla oli sihteerin synttärit. // In the working place of Gino (and his father and brother and cousin) they were celebrating the birthday of the secretary.

 

Ginon mummin synttäreille oli eksyny myös paistettuja marsunvarpaita. Maistuivat pienelle rasvaselle kanalle. // Some fried guinea pig toes had found their way to the birthday party of Gino's grandmother. They tasted like tiny, greasy chicken.

Paolan koululla oli olympialaiset. Tässä punanen joukkue. // Olympic games in Paola's school. Here's the red team.

Vihreä joukkue. Vaikutti siltä että koulu järjestää tämmösiä tapahtumia ihan vain saadakseen rahaa naposteltavien myynnistä. Oppilaitten oli pitäny ite maksaa kaikki paidat ja ilmapallot. // The green team. Seemed like the school arranges happenings like this only to get money from selling snacks. The students had to pay all the balloons and t-shirts themselves.

Paolan kans oltiin keltasia! // We were the yellows with Paola!

 

  

Kotia ku päästiin niin sielä oli grillibileet yläkerrassa/katolla/parvekkeella (en tiiä miksi sitä pitäis kutsua). Ginon serkku tuli käymään Italiasta 10 vuoden jälkeen, ja sitä juhlittiin naapureitten kans (jotka on kaikki sukulaisia). Mie tekasin pekoni-herkkusieni-systeemejä ja menivät hetkessä. // When we got home, they were having a barbecue on the third floor/roof/balcony, I don't know what to call it. Gino's cousin had come to visit after living 10 years in Italy, that was the reason to celebrate with the neighbours (who are all relatives as well). I made some bacon-champignon-thingies and they were a great success.

Kiinalaisessa ravintolassa oli buffet, ja minä keskityin jälkiruokiin. Täälä ei kiinalaisesta saa kanaa hapanimeläkastikkeessa! // Buffet in a Chinese restaurant, and I concentrated on the desserts. In here the Chinese restaurants don't have sweet and sour chicken!

Mmmmmmmm.

 

Camilan kaverilla Camilalla oli synttärit, ja ku käytiin hakemassa tyttö sieltä kotia, lapsilauma oli sitä mieltä että minä olen Hannah Montana. Olipa vaikea päästä karkuun! // Camila's friend Camila had her birthday and when we went to pick the girl home, the herd of kids decided that I am Hannah Montana. It was pretty difficult to escape from there!

  

Perjantaina oliki sitte olympialaisten palkintojenjako. // On Friday they had the distribution of prizes.

  

Joku nuista viipottajista on Paola, joka sai hopeamitalin kuulantyönnössä. // One of those runners is Paola, who got a silver medal in shot put.

  

Ja minähän kannatin keltasia. // And I supported the yellows once again.

  

  

Saatiin kutsu konserttiin, koska Ginon kaveri soitti taustabändissä. Kaveri kuvassa oikealla, suuri argentiinalainen artisti itse keskellä. // We got an invitation to a concert, because Gino's friend played in the band. The friend is on the right, and the great Argentinian artist in the middle.

Päästiin backstagelle (tai oikeastaan understagelle, se oli kellari). Gino, minä, laulaja, Ginon toinen kaveri joka löyty väentungoksesta. // We got to go to the backstage (or more like understage, it was a basement). Gino, me, the singer, Gino's other friend who we found from the crowd.

Käytiin museossa, jonka nimi jännästi on "Perun arkeologian, antropologian ja historian museo". Sielä oli kuuluisa Estela Raimondi eli kivi. Kivessä on inkojen kuvioita, ja sen löysi joku Raimondi 1800-luvulla, oli kuulemma ollu jossain maalaistalossa keittiönpöytänä. Sitä ku katsoo eri päin niin näkee erilaisia örkkejä. // We visited a museum that was interestingly called "The Museum of the Archeology, Anthropology and History of Peru". There was the famous Raimondi Stela, or stone. There are some inka designs on the rock, and it was found by a guy called Raimondi in the 19th century, Gino said it had been used as a kitchen table in a house. When you look at the stone from different angles, you see different monster faces.

Gino selitti että joku inkahallitsija oli luvannu espanjalaisille konkistadoreille yhen huoneen täynnä kultaa ja toisen hopeaa. // Gino explained that there was an inka emperor who promised the Spanish conquistadors one room full of gold and another one full of silver.

 

No, espanjalaiset tappo sen silti. // Well, the Spanish killed him anyways.

Museon jälkeen maisteltiin sitruunapiirakkaa. // Lemon pie after the museum.  

  

Parque de la amistad, "ystävyyden puisto" ja mielenkiintonen pyörätuoli. // The "friendship park" and an interesting wheelchair.

 

Sielä meni juna! Harmi vain satuttiin paikalle tasan kello 6, jolloin viimenen junakierros lähti. // There was a train! Unfortunately we got there exactly at 6, when the last train tour had started.
